CM directed Unitech to submit detail of all projects of Unitech with their time line along with detail of assets and liabilities within two weeks.
GURGAON: Taking action on number of complaints against M/s Unitech, realty major, the Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal has directed to constitute a committee under Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner for taking stock of all assets and liabilities of Unitech within the country and abroad so as to provide relief to the allottees of various housing projects developed by Unitech in Gurgaon.
Manohar Lal was presiding over the monthly meeting of district grievance committee in Gurgaon today. This was the first meeting under the chairmanship of the chief minister on which out of 22 complaints majority were redressed on the spot.
When the pending complaints of residents and allottees of Uniworld garden-2, Nirwana Country Sector-50, South City-2, all developed by Unitech were put before the chief minister, and he was informed that Unitech was not honoring its commitments and was delaying the projects causing losses to the allottees, the chief minister directed Ramesh Chandra of Unitech to submit detail of all projects of Unitech with their time line along with detail of assets and liabilities to the Headquarter of Town and Country Planning Department within two weeks.
At the same time, he said that if Unitech failed to do so, the Department would be free to take ex party decision against unitech. He said that the department would look into all the financial aspects of these projects. He said that the allottees belong to Haryana, that’s why he is worried and wanted to provide relief to them.
